GJS Couriers are happy to announce that as of 10am today we are now able to offer a same day delivery service using high technology drones.
The drones, which utilise airspace above 200ft (where most buildings end) and below 500ft (where general aviation begins) will fly through corridors 10 miles or longer at 50mph carrying payloads of up to 5kg. The service has been designed to offer customers even faster transit times for delivery of small packages, reducing the risk of delays caused by traffic on the roads in the South East to same day motorcycle couriers.
GJS Couriers Head of Drone Services, Robert Kelly comments: “We have been developing and testing this service for many many months, and now I believe we can fly, I believe that, together with our customers, we can touch the sky. We’ve been thinking about this every night and day, and now GJS can spread our wings and fly away”

{UPDATE} As you may have guessed, this was an April Fools’! However, this technology might not be too far away. Amazon are currently testing delivery drones in Canada. Lets see how they get on first!
